Concerns that City College will shutter its Bayview doors may be premature.
The Child Development & Family Studies
Department at City College's Southeast Community Facility campus is offering a
full complement of courses during the Fall 2013 semester. Students are
encouraged to enroll as soon as possible. Some of our classes are already full
and have waiting lists. Classes start on August
14th.
"The college remains open and accredited through the 13-14
school year," according to a statement from Kathleen White, Department Chair.
"We are confident that current issues will be resolved in order to ensure
continued academic services to students for many more years."
Upcoming classes at the Southeast Campus
include Child Growth & Development, Early Childhood
Curriculum; and Child, Family & Community.
