Once again, we thank students from Stanford who come to the Bayview regularly to pitch in on our various projects. Look for a huge student presence from both Stanford and the University of San Francisco in the coming weeks as we install the Bridgeview Food-Producing Garden.
Pictured here are students taking a quick break, while James Ross looks on, as work was underway Saturday. We finished a stone patio as part of the residential urban farm in Maggie and Emil's backyard on the 1400 block of Quesada.
Bridgeview neighbors will notice that we also got a healthy start on weeding and removing plants we want to save from the future food-producing garden site near them. Many thanks to Bridgeview residents Joel, Ken, and Kenny for joining in!
