The Quesada Gardens Initiative can’t seem to do anything in a small way. This huge retaining wall on the 1700 block of Quesada is the future home of San Francisco's newest public mural.
Bayview artists Santie Huckaby and Deidre DeFranceaux worked with residents to create drawings that reflect community values and the beauty of the garden, drawings that go far beyond our wildest dreams. Volunteer Co-Directors of the project, Sharon Bliss and Mike Aisenfeld have worked tirelessly to keep things on track.
Scaffolding is up, and the artists are currently dodging raindrops to begin the actual painting. Check back here for progress, or stop by the 1700 block of Quesada!
