India Basin residents
hope the City of San Francisco will purchase a historic waterfront parcel that
would complete the Blue Greenway, a proposed 13 mile-long series of parks and
open spaces from AT&T Park to Candlestick Park.
Known as the Shipwright's Cottage, the property at 900 Innes, and the surrounding three acres of land, would connect parts of the Blue Greenway already secured. The property achieved historic status through an effort led by India Basin Neighborhood Coalition.
