Bay Area Reporter writer Seth Hemmelgarn and photographer Rick Gerharter view Bayview through a queer lens.
In addition to changes fueled by economic forces and public works, Bayview is increasingly "home" to lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgendered persons who don't feel compelled to live in the Castro, or who just can't afford the emblematic "gay ghetto."
