In Sympathy with the Ross Family

All of us at Quesada Gardens stand with James Ross and his family as they mourn the loss of James' mother, Monie Joann Bedinger who passed away last week. The service was on Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Danville, Kentucky where James was raised and his mother lived.

James flew to Kentucky on Saturday to be with his family. He reports that his mom was at peace with her passing, and that after an illness she passed quickly, a release from suffering. In addition to James' San Francisco family, who live on the 1700 block of Quesada, family members in mourning include: Louis and Anita Ross, Chris and Beverly Ross and their three sons, and Stephanie Ross and her son.

James Ross is a Co-Founder and a key organizer of the Quesada Gardens Initiative, and has been a leader with the Blue Dolphin Youth Swim Team and Bayview Footprints Collaboration of Community-Building Groups.
