The right spot to surf the internet and enjoy food and drink will soon be Bayview Webspot, Bayview's newest business set to open next month at 4742 Third Street at Oakdale. FJ Cava is the architect of both the business and of Surf 4 Success, an innovative rewards program that meets important needs in the community.Bayview Webspot's grand opening has yet to be scheduled, but will likely be in March. Also look for a Bayview Footprints Third Thursday gathering at Webspot in April.
At Bayview Webspot, you'll be able to surf the Internet, buy computer storage media or food and drinks, all while earning points towards a new computer, iPod or software. For low- and moderate-income residents, this could mean a critical chance to use and learn computers in a fun supportive atmosphere, close-to-home.
Webspot’s core values are to strengthen low- and moderate-income communities by providing access to high-end technology in a safe friendly educational environment, and by offering practical encouragement of technology ownership. FJ Cava is a graduate of San Francisco State University's MBA program, and more recently has been immersed in Renaissance/Bayview Business Resource Center classes.
