No one who knows Annette will be surprised to learn that she is a "Saint." She just IS!However some of the attendees of September 23rds mural launch event didn't know that Annette's son, Jamez (who lives outside the Bay Area now) is a loved and reverred member of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence service organization - and a Saint himself. Sisters had been waiting for the right opportunity to express their respect for Annette's accomplishments in the Bayview, and to honor the mother of an important member of their community.
With much fanfare, Annette was proclaimed now and always: Saint Annette!

I'm so proud of my Mom! I'm glad that everyone can now see where I get it from... and so glad my Mom got to meet some of my Dearest Friends... The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.
I miss you all very much!
