Bayview Gardeners and Community Builders at MOAD
PG&E Family Day at the Museum of the African Diaspora included a wonderful program of story-telling, education about the importance of locally grown food to our health, and gift-giving. The Bayview residents pictured here work with Hunters Point Family to advance that community-based organization's gardening program. They are reverred and loved by all who know them, and were on hand to assist Co-Executive Director Lena Miller in accepting the solar oven PG&E presented.
