Yvonne Hines, owner of Pralines by Yvonne on Third between Revere and Shafter, was recognized as Small Business Owner of the Year 2007 by Senator Carole Migden's office last Friday. Aside from making some of the yummiest sweets available anywhere in the City, Yvonne is a dedicated creator of positive change in the Bayview/Hunters Point community.
Yvonne started her cooking and baking training with La Cocina, and currently handles her food production work at Eclectic Cookery. Yvonne is a current client of the Bayview Business Resource Center (Ren/BBRC), where she receives on-going business training, technical assistance, and consultation.
