Some Third Street denizens wondered about the lines of young (mostly) men lined up outside DogPatch Wine Works
last weekend. The unfamiliar youth found the Southeast part of the
City on the way to LANHAMMER 2013, billed as the Bay Area’s premier
gaming competition.
DogPatch was all the more active on Sunday when the Pier 70 Urban Air Market opened up at 11am. Area product vendors and food trucks positioned themselves in and around Pier 70, a temporary beer garden opened, and groups touring the rusty landscape now under development roamed the area.
Some Dogpatch residents were excited to see so many young families, that seemed to be looking for a place to settle, strolling the event.
