Up and down the road from where Annette Young Smith earned her "Lifetime Achievement Award," community builders have been busy earning their own kudos from the SF Neighborhood Empowerment Network.
The Portola neighborhood secured the most awards, including "Comeback Neighborhood of the Year" and "Best Green Community Project" for the neighborhood's Portola Gardens Tour.
Just up the road, the stunning Progress Park won "Best Community Challenge Grant Project."
Friend of the Southeast Sector, SF DPW's Sandra Zuniga, won for "Most Empowering City Employee of the Year."
Congratulations to all award-winners in the Southeast and throughout the City. Footprints will be cheering at the awards event on January 9th.
