The Lucy Street Festival raised
critically-needed funds last weekend for neighbors going through a tough time.
Many Lucy Street families and local businesses set up booths and activities in
support of what became the feel-good event of the weekend.
Gloria Stamp organized the event
drawing into the effort her mother, children and grandchildren, along with old
friends and business contacts from the heart of Bayview.
The Perez family was out in full
force, celebrating a father's recent release from the hospital and the
improvement of a son's condition after a fire consumed their Lucy Street home
and critically injured several family members.
Donation checks, made
payable to "Carmen Perez," may still be mailed to 25 Lucy Street SF CA
94124.
