Bay Natives is perfect business "fit"

Rendering of Bay Natives nursery
Bay Natives new retail nursery sits on the southeast sectors' waterfront where industry and nature have been squaring off for over a century. It may be the perfect business "fit" for a place located near Hunters Point Redevelopment and the waterfront restoration at Heron's Head Park.

Bay Natives is the neighborhood business grown by principals Geoffrey Coffey and Paul Furman. It is positioned to serve the expanding residential and commercials areas nearby by offering a wide selection of sustainable plants.

The nursery includes rare and endemic Bay Area native plants and little-known California native plants, all perfect for the urban landscape.

Geoffrey runs Madroño, a landscape design studio in San Francisco, writes about local native plants and landscape design, and has appeared on public television and the CBS Evening News.

Paul is a photographer and naturalist who has practiced landscape architecture specializing in steep slopes and native plants in San Francisco since 1988.

Bay Natives is located at 10 Cargo Way, next to Heron's Head Park, and is open seven days a week. Find them online or call 415.287.6755.
