Ladies and Gents, the dance floor is open!
Teresa Goines, a Koshland Fellow and the ball of energy behind the Old Skool Cafe, has done it again. This time, she's brought free dance lessons to Bayview. Every Monday night from 6:30 to 7pm, community members can step into Salsa and the Lindsy Hop at the Bayview Opera House.
Last Monday evening's inaugaral evening of dance was a big success. Teresa reports that dance teacher Melanie Moore Kubo and her husband "made everyone feel at ease and excited to learn."
So turn those left feet right, and dance on over to the new and improved "Monday night!" You'll leave with a new step or two, and a community of good memories.
