Why is Nadine Burke so happy?

Aside from enjoying her little friend's company, Dr. Burke is happy because she's celebrating the first birthday of the California Pacific Medical Center-supported Bayview Child Health Center.

Dr. Burke has put down roots in the community, and is showing her commitment by helping the children here as Managing Physician of the state-of-the-art medical facility she manages at 1335 Evans.

The community gathered in the lot behind the Center for a health fair, complete with DJ, rock-climbing wall, and huge inflatable jumpers for the kids. Quesada Gardens Initiative was on-hand to talk with visitors about the BAYBLOOM Backyard Gardens project, offering free backyard gardens to Bayview residents.

The weather was perfect, the food healthy and plentiful, and the smiles were everywhere.

Congratulations to Dr. Burke and all the staff and supporters of the Bayview Child Health Center. And thank you for the important work you do in our community!
