Wayland Carr Fuller loved science and enjoyed helping people. The career path he chose allowed him to indulge both passions: He was a community pharmacist in San Francisco's Bayview-Hunters Point neighborhood for more than 50 years.
Mr. Fuller, 92, died Tuesday in Coming Home Hospice after contracting an infection in early March.
