Quesada Garden gets serious about food production

From the early days, Annette and Karl grew food in the Quesada Garden. Collard greens and peanuts among the favorite plants.

QGI Board Chair Annette Smith and Horticulture Chair Tony Tarket are pictured here by a small field dedicated to the next generation of food production in this prize-winning urban garden. From the perfectly tilled rows to the spacing of vegetable plants (did they have a ruler?!), you can see the pride of work Annette and Tony planted along with the plants themselves. The field has been stopping traffic!
