Western states healthcare providers tour Quesada Gardens

Catholic Healthcare West is that rare organization dedicated to affordable healthcare, and to serving poor and disenfranchised communities. The organization brought a group of conference participants to the Quesada Gardens to tour the community gardens and public art projects it leads in the heart of Bayview.

These service professionals are committed to grassroots work and good, preventative healthcare. They want to see model community-based projects that both build community and improve health in places like our neighborhood.

The tour began at the Quesada Gardens' Community Mural and Public Gathering Space for Q&A with resident organizers, then moved up the stairs to the new Bridgeview Garden Learning Garden and on to the Latona Community Garden.
