Our partners at the University of San Francisco Architecture and Community Design program have done it again. This vision of the lot at Bridgeview and Newhall Streets incorporates many rounds of community feedback, maximizes use of the space, and accommodates both food production and education (note the little "amphitheater").
We continue to be grateful to our neighbors Joel and Mary McClure who have cared for the lot for years, and who have helped lead the way to this new concept. Stanford student volunteers are scheduled to pitch in with neighbors and USF students to install the garden on the weekend of November 3rd. Check here for updates.
Thank you SF Department of the Environment for major funding!
