Steven K. Jordon (Born April 3, 1949) passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2007, after a long illness. He is survived by his loving brothers Donald and Christopher Jordan, sisters Joyce and Terry Jordan, children Jessica Thompson and Steven K. Jordan Jr., and seven grandchildren. Neighbors will recognize the strong resemblance of Steven Jordan, Sr. to Steven Jordan, Jr., and will know that the family lives at the top of the hill overlooking the community garden.Steven, Sr. was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Roberta Foster Jordan. He had led a very exotic, interesting lifestyle, travelling worldwide while being employed first by PanAm, then by United Airlines, as a flight attendant. He was a very charming gentleman with a wonderful sense of humor. Anyone Steven encountered will remember him as a "people person" in the truest sense of the word.
Viewing on Friday, September 14, from 3:00-7:00 PM at Morgan Jones, 4200 Broadway. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 15, at 10:00 AM at Trinity Cathedral Church, 2620 Capitol Ave., Sacramento. This is to be followed by burial at Mount Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be sent to the charity of your choice.
